Northants Precious Metals is in Northamptonshire. We buy unwanted gold and silver, at prices we publish before you send anything.
This site does one job: tell you what your gold or silver is worth before you send it. Prices go up every weekday morning, and the calculator uses the same figures.
People send us broken chains, old sovereigns, jeweller's scrap, the family silver. No appointment, no shop. Post it in the free insured pack, or we collect. We weigh and test, then send a written offer.
We pay for the metal only. Stones come out and go back to you if you want them. Say yes and we pay by bank transfer, usually same day. Say no and it comes back, insured and free. Nothing is resold as jewellery — it goes to a UK refinery to be melted.
We do ask for photo ID, because the law requires it. Anything else, just call us.
